J.Crew CEO Mickey Drexler To Retire From Apple’s Board Of Directors


Apple has quite recently unveiled to its shareholders that Millard "Mickey" Drexler will be resigning from the organization's governing body following 16 years in the position. His part will end in March; nobody has been named to fill the opening.

Notwithstanding his position on Apple's board, Drexler has been the CEO of J.Crew since 2003. Before that, he was the President of Gap Inc. (the guardian co of The Gap, Banana Republic and Old War fleet, among others).

Steve Jobs pulled Drexler onto the organization's board in 1999, to a great extent to help them fabricate its retail vicinity. Apple opened the first of its presently notable retail locations after two years in 2001.

Drexler was the longest tenured member of Apple's top managerial staff after Bill Campbell ventures down in July of a year ago.
